I live in greater london, so i’m lucky enough to be a 20-minute tube ride away, yet right in the heart of epping forest (a very large forest covering miles of london and essex). i would recommend everyone to visit this amazing city, even though ive grown up visiting central london, and im there shopping or clubbing every weekend, i get goosebumps every time. i agree with those who say dont hire a car- seriously, its not worth it. you’d have to pay £8 a day anyway just to drive within london (about $20). even if u want to get to the other end of the road you can jump on a bus, there’s practically more buses than cars. the cuisine isnt that bad, you just have to know where to go. and those who say the suburbs are shit, totally untrue, and why would the tourists care anyway? GO TO LONDON, its exciting intelligent trendy and breathtaking, you’ll love it!
