i wrote/ made a postcard tonight. i dont think they’ll post it on the site though. but it would be very gratifying if they did.
i shall post it tomorrow, i wonder how much it costs to send a poscard to the US? i guess i will know tomorrow!

I was 16 and living with my boyfriend on the Gold Coast, Australia. i used to swim as far out as was safe. once i was out past the breakers when this surfer started yelling at me. i couldn’t hear what he was saying. i looked around and saw a grey shape in the water. i thought it was a shark or a giant sting ray. when i put my head below the surface i saw it was a dolphin. it circled around me but swam off when i tried to touch it. it was totally amazing. especially because the dophin approached me.
i dont think the experience would’ve been half as wonderful if it had been booked and paid for and with a animal in captivity. i don’t think think amimals should be in captivity unless it’s necessary.
