Quitting drinking has been profoundly better than I thought it would be. I didn’t even drink that much, but it was enough of a habit that it was blocking my personal development. That became clear once I stopped. And I now feel the same way about having a drink as I did about smoking after I quit that. It seems very unappealing now.
