become fluent in french
Tu parles français? 13 months ago

I’ve always been interested in languages and have wanted to be fluent in at least five. I’m fluent in two and am looking to add my third.

I actually understand a bit of French and Spanish, but a bit does not a fluent make. And so…. voilà! French here I come. I’ve started watching French movies, listening to language cds and studying at home. Now all I need is someone to speak with! :)

start doing Yoga
Fit for Life 13 months ago

As you get older you realise that your body changes and you’re not as invincible as you once were. You vow to make those life-style changes. Eat healthier, drink more water, exercise more. More, more, more.

I decided I would do yoga as part of my more. As it so happened, I’ve wound up starting pilates instead. I’ve done it 4 days this week and am quite amazed at its effectiveness. Would recommend it to any and everyone.

So what about yoga? I’m still gonna do it, and look forward to crossing it off my list.

Namaste.

read the New Testament
Reading the Bible 14 months ago

The Bible is no ordinary book and to read it, no small task. Though it can be read like a novel, from word to word, from beginning to end, it can never be finished. It is a book of life and death, wisdom and truth and its contents hard to understand without guidance.

I’ve started reading Matthew in conjunction with Life Study of the Bible from www.ministrybooks.org. Getting to know God is a wonderful thing. I would recommend that anyone who wants more, believes there’s more, to try it. Open your mind, open your heart, then open the Bible.

Blessings.
