How I did it: I've been wanting to do this forever but this is the first real opportunity I've had. On the beach at Lamu Island in Kenya. What an AMAZING experience. Luckily she was very old but still looked very scary. I think she was purring when we were near her b/c she wanted us to pet her, but it sounded like growling. It was so heart pumpingly awesome!!!
So excited I will be leaving for Kenya in just over a week. Well, I will never be fluent but I’m looking forward to picking up some phrases when I get there next week.
Jambo = hello that’s all I’ve got for now :)
