So excited I will be leaving for Kenya in just over a week. Well, I will never be fluent but I’m looking forward to picking up some phrases when I get there next week.

I want to actively live my life not just watch it. Sometimes I almost feel as if I’m watching myself watch my life as if through TV eyes. Sometimes I don’t interact enough. Perhaps that is why I like to take pictures b/c I feel like I’m involved with what is going on in the world. But then again I’m just capturing the activity of others…
