I didn’t really ‘get’ what the whole MP3 thing was about until I got my iPod. Then it dawned on me how powerful it was to have all (or a lot) of my music in my shirt pocket. I spend most of my time on random play, rediscovering songs I forgot I had and enjoying improbable juxtapositions (opera sounds just dandy sanwiched between Tito Puete and the Sex Pistols. To say that it has changed the way I think about music would be a great understatement.

So worth doing. It’s been 14 years since i was there, so maybe things have changed, but Prague was the most beautiful city I have ever seen, like a real-life fairy tale. Plus, you can drink real Bohemian beer (warning: much stronger than your average brewski).

I’ve been chipping away at mine for several years now. There’s still some uncoverted stuff (I’ve only lately started dipping into the classical CDs), but all the important stuff has been done for a while now, and just about the first thing I do when I get a new CD is rip it into my iTunes library.
