I need to say that my high morale as of late is not really due to any major wow factor in life but some very serious capitalizing on what is a process. It’s the process, dummy (speaking to myself)!

I need to take time to focus my appreciation on certain areas of my life that have been amazing as of late:

1. My coaching, seriously, I know you will read this but it has to be said: this is changing me bit by bit, all in a positive way only.
2. Massage therapy: how can I explain how a pair of human hands (and elbows from time to time)on my body can bring about sweet change in my tension which shows up elsewhere in my life? It simply is beautiful.
3. Personal training and my own fitness routine: it is great to push myself, with her help and my own motivation, to continue to be so healthy and fit in life.
4. A career: I love that I get to study for a living now, and that I work in a profession that has purpose, relevance and a sense of adventure.
5. Connecting: on so many different levels with different people ranging from fun comments with people, to asserting myself within the testosterone community (hahaha!) to unbelievable closeness with people I haven’t even met.

So, that is why today has again been a ten!

Ahhh, days feel so good because different things are all coming together, I feel so much appreciation for…

1. I rate my days highly for a while now, my appreciation is all over the place.
2. Some fun bowling, a spontaneous decision and the repetition of a mantra from a ‘friend’ with cancer to help me bowl.
3. Getting a email with flight confirmation for CH!!! Time to go back to my ‘roots’ for a while, time to face the music and be welcomed with open arms.
4. Open honest communication… that is the utmost I can hope for in any relationship, whatever kind it is. Friendship above all else is based on that.
5. Dodgeball anyone?

Quick 5: 82 5 days ago

I had to wake up a little earlier today for inspection, but hey I still appreciated that:

1. The sergeant major was quick about things. Obviously, not too worried about some of the more mature soldiers.
2. Things flowed today so much more. I just wasn’t all consumed by extraneous deep thoughts or outer-body experiences (actually, I started planning those on purpose now)so really it came down to the fact that I was in the present.
3. Got a couple of things done today that were foreeeeeeeever on my list of things to do. Yeah, piddly errands most of you might say. Huge procrastination creation in my opinion!
4. Got my studying done and things are looking good again. A bit of a boost too in my marks for some courses. I am going for straight A+, however meager, except for math. But math for me is the sexiest subject right now, something about understanding those numbers…
5. A bunch of oranges I bought tasted soooo exquisite! It’s been a while since my palate has been extremely turned on by fruit, not since season has ended on berries. Ahhh, life’s little delicacies.
