I’ve been working in Blahview for two weeks now and I’ve ridden my bike every day. I have no doubt that I’ll be able to keep riding through the summer. The hard part will be next winter when the weather gets bad.
The greatest drain on my climbing performance currently is my mind. I need to learn to trust in my ability and climb confidently without overprotecting, overgripping, or hesitating.
Last summer I climbed a ton and my crack climbing skills improved significantly but I still am not climbing boldly or confidently. That will be my next climbing goal.
