My husband has an adopted sister who was born deaf because her mother was suffering with measles while pregnant. They didnt discover this until she was about 6 months old, when his mother accidently dropped a pan, and she didnt even flinch. After having it confirmed by doctors, they enrolled her in school and taught the whole family the use of sign language. Currently she is living in Idaho and us in Florida, so I havent had the chance to meet her yet, but when I do, I would like to be able to “speak” with her. It also seems that sign language is more the International language that all of us can share. Which just helps to bring us closer.

well Alex went up to Montgomery with his scout troup this year for summer camp, of course he waited until a week before to tell me they were going…..great just great. Oh well he made it there and back in one piece. My daughter went and stayed with her father and stepmother for two weeks instead of going to camp this, which was fine by me. My son also went to winter camp back in Dec. that’s something I would like to do in Colorado when the Rockies are covered with snow….bbbrrr.
Well we finally did it, we got married on the most romantic day’s of the year….Valentine’s Day. Thomas, my kids Alex & Brianna, myself went to the Wedding Chapel and had them marry us. Bri & I wore red dresses with red & white rose bouquets. Tom and Alex wore black with ties and a red rose boutoneer.
We exchanged vows and wedding bands of grey titanium. Afterwards we went out for dinner. Very low keyed and private, pretty much how we wanted it.
