How I did it: I started working on my portfolio for college in a special class at school- having that time set aside MADE me draw, and it resulted in me thinking about art in general more. Read how I did it…
I was really nervous, getting my 5am-9pm license. In the end, it was a piece of cake. So easy. My one mistake was doing a “rolling stop” at a stop sign in the empty parking lot. Oh well. And my picture is great.
I got my 1/8 inch computer cable to hook my handydandy tape recorder up to my computer and downloaded audacity (simple multitrack editor) and presto! I’ve recorded a song and it is an mp3!
Well, I have been practicing and voila: I have improved my guitar playing. I now have calluses on three of my left hand fingers, can play basic chords, basic 7 chords, a movable C-major scale, and a number of my own songs! I think this counts as “improvement”. The next step: finger picking!
