Given the chance, I would do it again! Although, it required patience, and you really can’t recognize me, since I’m way in the background. It was an interesting experience. I met some great people.

Braces really are not that expensive; a car costs a lot more, and won’t last as long as your teeth. But please, if you do get them, try really hard to learn to speak clearly with them on. That’s probably the hardest thing for a working adult with braces.

Mine are off now, and I have great teeth, plus my jaw doesn’t hurt any more.

I started lessons at 49; not the best in my class, but I have improved a lot, have better posture, and just feel better in general. Just find a studio or take a workshop. It’s a great way to interact with lots of different people, and, hey, you can call yourself a dancer!
