There was word of a meteor shower and my best friend was visiting the island. We pulled a comforter out onto the roof and fell asleep as the sky came alive with shooting stars. A beautiful night for sure, worth doing, and worth repeating.

When I can’t sleep at night I lie in bed and count the waves crashing on the shore, it’s my favourite part of living on the beach.
