I’m a teenaged guy, and I dance like a girl, but people find it funny, and it’s led to me getting cast as large roles in shows, people knowing my name, and even the inevitable weight loss.
Now of course it’s fully intentional that I drop it like it’s hot, and I don’t care what other people think, because I’m enjoying myself, which is all that matters.

I’ve gotten standing ovations as an actor.
Obviously it’s more likely to happen if you’re cast as a lead role.
I wish there was more to say, but it’s mostly just how much effort you put into your craft.

At about ten years old I started gaining weight (Part of what I think was genetics, part of my dad always telling me and my brother that we eat “like men”, thus making me always want to please him, and other people, with my extensive palette).
At my peak, I was about 170 pounds. I went back to summer camp for my 7th year this summer, and took advantage of the fact that I had to walk to get everywhere, we were required to play a sport for at least an hour six days a week, and there was only one choice for a meal, and they were normally healthy (and not very good, on the topic of portion control).
I’ve come home 10 pounds lighter, and have gracefully eased into some old habits, and I am maintaining my weight very well, but I am not losing any more. I just started to take this more seriously, and I feel a lot better about myself.
