I just gave up my monthly Starbucks allowance to sponsor children through Christian Children’s Fund. I’ve wanted to sponsor a child for years and never got around to it. I just signed up for it today. It feels good to be doing something to help. And it helps me keep my new years resolution to stop drinking coffee!

There’s a resort called “Solitude” outside of Salt Lake City. I was there on New Years Eve and (as the name implied) it was still not crowded! It is worth finding—great skiing. Good luck with your goal.
It ended up having been taken by someone who did not replace it (who are these people?) so we never really “found” anything—but the search was fun. A treasure hunt for grownups.
