well except if you are a criminal, you’d want your victims to forget about you. lol no but seriously this is one of those things that everyone with an ego (almost everyone) wants.

Wow, I’ve read many of people’s posts they put here, and it makes me…. mm whats the word?..... a little less worried the fact that I am not the only one who isnt happy with the way his/her life is going. I am sure most of us tried our “best” to change our lives this past year, but somewhere along, we fogot about our real goals; the things that matter the most to us. One of the reasons for that is that we tend to value more
instant gratification than delayed gratification. We tend to go for the “easy button” instead of gutting it out in our day to day life basis. I for one am fed up with all that and have made it clear to myself that this is not the way to go. I will challenge myself (and anyone reading this) to list their things they will like to do or learn the coming year and not only do your best to make it happen, but MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
this time next year, I’ll post my results.
I’ve been reading a lot of self help books lately, and they are pretty darn amazing….. I wont name them because I want to put them to the test first for a full year, because as they say knowledge without practice is just as good as gold in a hidden cave; useless. Not that I know a lot but, I consider myself an average guy trying to climb the ladder to the top. Anyways my New Year (or should I say) New Life Goals are:
1. Get on top optimal shape
on a scale from 1 to 10… 1 being the worst, I consider myself a measly 6 right now I want to get to the point where I can proclaim myself a 10 (or9.5:)
2.learn violin
my little brother (10 yrs old) is learning the violin, maybe I can learn a few tricks from him, but yeah I’ll do my best to learn it.
3.learn more guitar
guitar is so damn cool, I’d like to lear a few more songs and theory and all that stuff.
4. practice more (soccer, boxing) dedicate more time to it.
5. learn the basics of japanese (i am talking basics here lol:)
doso yoroske!!!!! plz!!!!!
6. draw more!!!!!!
7. enough with my selfish goals( dont get me wrong they are great goals, the above, but I know that there is more to life than just me me and me. people around me are also important to me. so this goal is to be a better son… sometimes I take my mom and aunt for granted, but they are basically the ones I owe everything to. I’ll strive to make them proud.
8. be a better teacher to my brother….
by that I mean to be a good role model for him. throughout this whole year I’ve been beside him, but this year I’ll let him see for his own what willpower and discipline can accomplish. This is another reason I WILL accomplish my goals.
9. save more money- I’ve got 2000 left for the end of year, but by next year december, i will to have 10,000 on the bank.
10. talk the talk….. now walk the walk…....!!!!
HAPPY NEW (LIFE) YEAR EVERYBODY…..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had challenged myself to run a mile without stopping a few weeks ago.. but I think like on the second day I ran like 5 laps, which is a little more than a mile. Needless to say I was ecstatic. I had given myself like 2 weeks to be able to do this, so I wax thrilled to have made my goal so fast. Now as I look back, I think that playing soccer with my friends during summer really added to me being able to achieve my goal. Up until a month or so, I had never ran a mile nonstop. I had tried but got to tired midway in the run to complete it. Now my new goal is to run 2 miles nonstop… I currently can run 7 laps nonstop the most, so in about another week and I’ll be there. I am barely begginning to explore the world of running so I am just a novice but a thing that helped me achieve my run is reciting songs in my mind while I was running. This keeps you distracted from the pain/and or fatigue. Good luck to anyone going for this goal I definitely recommend this for anyone!!
