We don’t have cable access available where we live-in the mountains of Western N.C. and dish is just too expensive, so we were kind of forced to give it up. You find you have so much free time to get things accomplished and get caught up on housework, reading, etc. And you really notice how much other people do watch TV, because that’s all some people can talk about! We get a lot of the “wow, are you Amish?” questions when people find out we don’t have TV. We do still have a TV and DVD player, so we can rent dvd’s on occasion, but it’s not overly consuming now. Well worth it!
