I got this because I had enjoyed Loud and Clear so much. It was published in 1993, but it was especially interesting in light of our current events. Her comments about the (Gulf) war, the Clintons, and other issues are especially intriguing, knowing where we are today—in a presidential race that includes Clintons, fighting a war against terrorism, etc.

I actually bought this on audiobook before I bought the hardback, but I wanted to be able to re-read some things, and that’s easier when you’re reading an actual book than when you’re searching for a part of a book on your iPod. Anyway, I read the complete hardback even thought I had already listened to the audiobook. I really appreciate her writing style, and I like how her writing makes me think. I especially identify with what she writes about her mother.
