We’re just finishing up our first year hosting an exchange student. What a wonderful and fulfilling experience! She’s polite, plays with our young children, does well in school, and will help out in any way. My husband and I are youngish, and so she’s more like a younger sister and a friend. We’re having so much fun, and we’re dreading Hanna’s return to Germany, because she truly is a member of our family. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone! :)

My daughter weaned herself (with some nudges from me) at about 40 months, and I’m thrilled with how it all turned out. It was gentle, non traumatic, and non painful for both of us. I’d absolutely do it again, and I encourage anyone else to do it too!
