I am running at least once a week now. Usually just about 5k in the morning, but sometimes more. I’ve been doing a few races last year, and I want to continue doing so this year. Actually, I got a new goal: I want to run a marathon this year!

How I did it: Once I was done studying for my exams I had finally more time available. I now go to the library about once month and pick up a couple of books. I mostly read before going to bed, but sometimes I just lay around the house or at the beach on a weekend and read. I'm still getting used to just sitting there and reading - I'm so used to always being busy, studying, working, or running around. It's nice to relax while r… Read how I did it…
How I did it: One year ago I started a new job and I've been riding my bike to work every day since. I now work only 6.5 miles away from where I live and I ride my bicycle to work everyday. I do have the advantage of living in CA, where the weather isn't usually a big issue. If it does rain I take the bus - no problem!Riding my bike to work is so much more enjoyable than sitting in traffic. I also don't have to spend any money o… Read how I did it…
I am saving money, but this isn’t exactly a goal you’re just done with. I’m having money automatically deducted from my account every month, and my savings are growing – slowly. But even though I don’t have an exact goal for which I am saving, I want to build a nice cushion, be it for emergencies, vacations, a new couch, or whatever. I just want to have money that I can use if I choose or need to do so. More, more, more – without forgetting to enjoy stuff on regular basis too.
just paid a big chunk with my tax refund, and now I just got one card left. And I am not using the other credit cards unless I know I’ll pay them off at the end of the month. I want to be free from credit card companies. They are not here to help people, they are here to make money of us!
