My second mini-goal is to lose another 5 lbs by July 23rd, my birthday. That will make 10 lbs total.
To do this I have to:
- be good on vacation (no weight gain this year!)
- exercise regularly (3 or more times a week)
- drink lots of water (I’m aiming for 64 oz a day)
- continue to watch what I eat

I’ve met my first mini-goal, which was to lose 5 lbs by July 4th… and even met it a day early! :) I’ve been doing the South Beach Diet and it seems to be working great, and I feel great too. I’ve also been trying to get more exercise in. I managed to exercise 4 days last week, which is really good for me as I have trouble staying with it.
On to my next mini-goal…

My hubby and I have been in our new house about 2 months and we have been eating on the sofa using the coffee table as our dining table! We have been doing this going on 3 years now as we’ve been in small apartments where we couldn’t fit a dining table. Now that we have our house, I can’t wait to get a real table and be able to eat like normal people…
