How I did it: Like I said, not only did I run 5km without stopping, but I actually ran the full 12km's without stopping. My first time, and I managed a respectable time of 01 hour, 05 minutes, 06 seconds.I even beat some of my fitter friends.I guess I was fitter than I anticipated. After only 6 training runs with my 2 dogs, running 6km each day, I gave the run a go... sure it was hard... but I didn't stop... and it was worth the experience. Read how I did it…

so i now workout 4 times a week in martial arts, and most weeks workout at the gym 3-4 times a week, as well as throwing in the odd bit of yoga for balance.
and generally, it feels good.
now i have to work on being more active without dedicating hours of the day to exercise. for example: taking the stairs instead of the lift, not getting home from work and just sitting in front of the tv. things like that.
in the grand scheme of things, this goal isnt important… was just a way for me to waste time.
i dont even own any mp3s anymore.
