Prepare for my Digital Death
Dealing with Digital Death is Important 3 weeks ago

I know, morbid.

But, I’d like to leave a “legacy” – and since I’ve had an online presence since the 90’s, then I have a social network “out there in digital land” – everything from my very first web site on Geocities (yep!) – to various forgotten / abandoned photo albums, email accounts… not to mention Myspace / Facebook. I was networking on the internet way before it was called, “Social Networking” – so … in the event of my death I’d like to be able to leave a clean legacy – that means records, a final status notice, who / what / where / how with someone I trust (sites, passwords) – I read how to do this briefly in an article at eHow.Com and I will begin preparing today. The first thing I’ll do is start paying attention to what is “out there” – and logging / noting my information in a safe secure place. That will make a good start.

learn to play the bass guitar
Bass for Christmas 11 months ago

I got my bass guitar for Christmas – a Peavey Rockmaster with a teeny tiny amp. It’s bigger than me. I learned some fingering exercises so I’m just messing with that for now.

Write my 43 Things for 2009
2009 43 Things 11 months ago

I started my list on paper and I’m up to 12 challenging things. I think if I can throw in some “not so challenging” items onto the list, I can get to 43 Things!

I think it’s important to know what you’re working toward before you “get there” – also it’s sometimes important to acknowledge some of the trivial / easy things you might want to do. Say it, then DO it.

The other part of this goal: Write my “43 Things” – is that I want to accomplish all of them by 2010!
