Today, I grabbed my Runner Carriage “THE CHARIOT”, put my two toddlers in, buckled them up tight and hit the trails. We ran for an hour and I feel great. This is a trail for everyone: Mountain Bikers, Motor Bikes, 4 wheelers, Jeeps, Runners, Hikers and today was the first time a mama and her babies ran it with grace & determination. Sure, it was difficult and if the carriage wasn’t meant for off roading and had suspension I wouldn’t have chanced it. The girls had a great time bumping up and down and seeing all the excitement the trails had to offer. I had people tell me this was the first time they had ever seen a mama pushing her babies up the trail before and probably their last. I told them no, I will be up here again. One, older woman hiking thought it was crazy to have the kids like that and that they should be at home. I told her: ” I think not. It would be worse to have them locked up inside. Out here they get the fresh air, excitement and have their mommy strong, healthy and happy. I do feel strong and am glad I did it.
