Applied! 23 months ago

Well I finally finished my application. Now I have to wait. I know I’m going to have to lose weight and I know I’m going to have to deal with the whole shinanagins about my student loan and blah blah financial obligations. They need proof for something that’s a year or longer away, which is part of the difficulty. Oh well, I’ve started the battle at least and I’ve submitted the application. First step complete!

meet my sister
Sister meet n' greet 3 years ago

Well I have two half sisters that I had never met before. I started talking to the oldest one about five years ago and just never got around to meeting her. Things came up or money was an issue and at one point she had a baby during that time frame. Things just didn’t work out to meet, ya know? Anyways, when I took a road trip across the U.S. to move from Seattle to Baltimore, I was able to meet her. I drove through St. Louis and stopped for a couple days to do a meet n’ greet with both of them actually. We also went and visited my dad’s grave while we were there, which was nice since I was never able to do that either.
