I’ve had this thing in the back of my mind for a while now. I stopped writing here a over a year ago, well, actually I just stopped writing. I miss it. I need to write to compose my thoughts. Writing helps me form an opinion, takes the storm of thoughts in my head and gives them some structure. I’m off to bed, good night.

A year ago, I gave up on ever clearing my name from debt, i never thought it was possible, but things have changed.
Selling my house helped pay off a sizable chunk, I rent now. I got burnt by early payment redemption fees though, the mortgage company charged my eight thousand pounds to pay off early. – Not nice.
I plan to clear my remaining debt by Feb 2008
This site has been useful: http://www.wesabe.com it’s an online money manager.
It’s only just started, in the FAQ they mention 43things as inspiration. It lets you tag your purchases. I recommend giving it a go. It’s free, I don’t know how they are making money from the service.
In a fun way it’s shown me where all my money goes. The other users of the site have listed a number of cool money saving tips too.
Oh, also, i’m not sure if I should promote online spending on this goal, but, hay, it may save a bit of money for those of you in the UK, two sites that you might find useful:
http://www.quidco.com free to sign up, and they offer discounts on a number of online shops and services.
and
http://www.hotukdeals.com/main.html – lists special offers for uk online shopping sites. (I found my £179 wii via this site, when every where else was out of stock…)
I miss my grandfather.
I got an email from someone on flickr today. They are setting up a stall to sell retro photos of camper vans. They asked me if they could sell prints of the pictures taken by my grandfather. I said I was happy with that and wished them best of luck.
I hope they sell, it’s nice to know that the pictures that Gramps took will give enjoyment to other people.
A while ago i got a large copy of my avatar picture printed off, the one of the camper van in the mountins. It’s in the hallway of my flat.
