I’ve been going about 4 days out of 7 for the past 2 weeks. Some days have been hard, but I just tell myself I’m going even if I only walk on the treadmill for 5 or 10 minutes and walk out. But after I get there and start moving, I always feel like staying for 30-45 minutes. And I can feel a real improvement already in my stamina and energy level at home as well as at the gym. It’s small but it’s a start :oD

This has been a good week. I’ve done some sort of exercise every day and, for me, that’s good enough. :o)
Our yard is an embarrassment right now with the unfinished ramp, downed tree branches, yard tools left outside and spare lumber and cement blocks lying around. Not to mention the chickens that are destroying our grass and digging up around our house. And it looks even worse now that winter has turned everything bare and brown.
As soon as the weather gets warmer, I want to -
- burn, chip or haul away all the logs and branches
- install rails on the ramp and paint it
- plant grass on the barren spots
- take away all the old lumber & blocks
- pick up all the tools and junk
It seems like every year we spend more money on the yard and animal housing while the yard looks worse and worse.
