i really want to be a big sister (you know, of big brothers big sisters) but the application process has been really slow for me. and it’s partially my fault – my references are taking their sweet time getting it together. but so far it’s taken almost 3 months!!!!!! anyway, i hope i can do it. i think it would be really enlightening and fun. more later…

i’ve been in seattle for about 6 months and I LOVE IT! although there are many people that drive me crazy, there are more people here that are reasonable than any other place i’ve lived (ny & denver). it would be nice if it was easier to meet people, but i’m working on it.
you know i have a lot...

i am really very lucky – i have a wonderful husband that is the best person i’ve ever met, i have a job that i don’t hate, i now live in a city i like, i’m healthy, i can pay my bills and sometimes buy stuff i don’t need, i have a college education, i’ve travelled a bit, i don’t hate my family, i love my cats. i just have to be grateful for these things everyday.
