I was diagnosed with PCOS early this year. The infertility problems are very discouraging, but I am working on being healthier. I was tested for insulin resistance yesterday so hopefully I get those results soon.
It is really frustrating because I really want to have a family with my husband and I can’t help but worry that the closest thing that I ever have to a child will be my cat.

I got rid of a ridiculous number of books when preparing to move. I am still working through books to read, but it isn’t ruling my life. I had a lot of books and it feels good to have pared down the ones that I am unlikely to read.
Maybe using my free time wisely is just doing what I want. When I came up with this goal I felt like I wasn’t doing anything productive on my days off, but isn’t that kind of the point of days off? I am in the last half of a work vacation and have been stressed out the entire time because I have had to work at moving out of the other place and cleaning it and all that. I really think that enjoying my time is using my free time wisely. I will think about it a little more and figure out whether to remove it from my list or to say I’ve done it.
