I'm doing 18 things
As birthday gifts for my family, I bought tickets to PP&M’s concert in Mass. earlier this summer. For once all of us were in the same area (although my sis came up from DC). It was a great night. I won a t-shirt in a trivia contest, we had great seats, Peter Yarrow seemed to hear us singing and said “sounds good,” and we sang our hearts out. I’m so glad we got to do this. It was my parents’ first PP&M concert as well, and they’ve been fans since the group first formed!
In a special addition, I actually got to meet Peter this past spring when he came to my seminary for his organization, Operation Respect. I do not usually get starstruck, but it was amazing to get to hug him!
