New Years

I felt the same way on New Years as Julie Sue. At five minutes to everyone was with there others and I was alone. I missed my guy so bad. We always sent New Years as just the two of us and made it romantic and special. I got upset and I was thinking that this moment would ruin my night. But I didn’t want it to.

So I jumped up on our table at the club, pulled up two of my other single friends, and we screamed and danced our way into the new year. It was the singles table! When everyone was smooching we were partying. And we have the best pictures of the night!

I like this. I like being crazy and fun again. I always heard that whoever you kiss on New Years is the person you will be with for the rest of the year. I didn’t kiss anyone but I had a great time. And I hope it continues for the whole year. I just hope that someday he will stop being the cause of it.

donate blood regularly
Want to start again

So recently a lot of people I know have had surgery and since I’m a universal donor I’ve been thinking about donating again. I used to go to every blood drive my school gave after my last class of the day (my roommate and I would try to go on the same day and then treat ourselves to a rented movie afterwards.) I really liked doing it and feeling like I was making a difference.

But then the last time I donated I fainted and someone stole my sweatshirt. I haven’t wanted to go since. But it is time to go again. I just won’t wear my favorite sweatshirt. :)

Does anyone know if it is OK to drive after donating? We would have to drive to the center and drive home.

cut my hair short
Always Remember Short Hair

I loved cutting my hair short. It was a bit tough growing it out but it was also fun since you always have to come up with new hair styles. The one down point- Now I want to grow my hair really long (maybe down to my butt?). But when it is hot or I don’t have time to take a long shower or straighten my hair I remember my short hair. The 3 minute showers. The fact that I could throw some gel in my wet hair and run out of house was great also. It is always tempting for me to cut it off again.
