You can get lessons on DVD, and depending on what city you’re in…there may be a class somewhere you can take. Swing Dancing in general is sooooo much fun, and great exercise!

I’m sick. I guess i have a sinus infection or something, but I can’t breathe and I’m hacking all kinds of stuff up. My throat is raw and my ears hurt. So it’s 10:08 a.m. I went out the past couple of nights and smoked a bunch, Now I reeeeally can’t breathe. I’m sitting at my desk at work and I’m out of breath. I’m 26 and I’ve been smoking 10+ years. It’s terrible. And I’m a true “smoker”. I’m not someone who smokes when I’m out, or when I drink, etc. I’m not one of the lucky “I can take it or leave it” people. I wanna smoke all the time. When I get up, after eating, before bed, when I drink coffe, when I drink alcohol, when I’m outside…it’s just getting worse and I have to stop.
So I figure now is as good a time as ever. I’m already sick so my breathing is twice as bad. And I’m gonna feel like crap anyway, right? Might as well do it now. So Anyway, I guess I’ll get one of those quit counter things and start it at 10:00 this morning. So here we gooooo…..
I’m going to make this (43things.com for those of you reading this in my livejournal) my default page on my computer so I can keep a constant reminder. I guess I’ll just get on here really quick when I want to smoke. Or maybe I’ll write something….or something. We’ll see.
I’ve quit once before, for a few months and what people say is right…NEVER TAKE ANOTHER DRAG or it’s all effed.

So I’ve been looking for the perfect not too casual, but not too dressy handbag so I can get rid of all the others. I found it last week and at Ross, none the less! So today I cleaned more than TEN bags out of my closet!!!! Now some of you know that I have a tiny closet, so it was absolutely stuffed with purses. Now it’s practically empty and I have floor space. This is the accomplishment of the year. Yay!
