I’ve done this and it is absolutely too time consuming to maintain. Plus my hair is kinky so it get’s very tangled at times. If your hair is straight it may make a difference.

Grandma taught me!

My grandmother taught me to sew at the age of eleven. This is definitely a skill worth learning. The only drawback is that it is extremely time consuming to practice, especially in today’s fast moving world. I recommend going to a senior citizen to teach you. A lot of them know the skills of the trade. My grandmother was a professional seamstress.
A matter of discipline

I took about 3 months of french at Alliance Francaise in Los Angeles; but since I moved to Atlanta I’ve been a slacker. I still have the materials from Alliance and a French Calliou tape, which I love watching. So now my goal is to spend at least 15 minutes studying French a day for a month, then increase the study time from there.
