Okay – so I tried to make a flourless cake the other day. I hardly ever bake, so I figured I’d pick the easiest recipe. Bought the butter and semi-sweet morsels, had the rest at home (sugar and eggs).
Mistake 1 – I was in a hurry
Mistake 2 – separated the eggs and added the sugar to the whites instead of yolks. Had the throw the whites out (saved the yolks for the birds)
Put it all together, at last, and panicked while doing so as I was going to take it to my parents
Mistake 3 – put it in a springform pan instead of a reg. 9” cake pan – leaked all over
Mistake 4 – thought that once it would stop cooking it would stop leaking
Mistake 5 – finally transferred the already starting to cook cake into a brownie pan
It didn’t work out.
