So I have always wanted to have a taco from a truck, but ever since I was little people told me that it would make me sick. But as I grew older and saw people eating from trucks, I figured it couldn’t be that bad. I decided to wait for a recommendation from friends on where to go. My friend took me to a truck way out somewhere in the city I’ve never been and I had barbacoa and carnitas tacos. They are very simple tacos and they give you some cilantro and onion and salsa to put on top. No cheese. I also had some horchata, although this truck’s was very sweet. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely love to check out some more trucks. What’s most important – I don’t feel sick!

How I did it: Having a water bottle really helped. I have a nalgene bottle where each mark is the name of a different philosopher. This made drinking water more fun. Ordering water at restaurants help. Always having a water bottle in my backpack does too. I also bought big gallon bottles of ozarka to keep in the refrigerator. Crystal light packets (only 5 calories) help too because they are tasty and you just put the… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Basically I bought a bunch of cheap wines every time I went to the grocery store. When I would have people over we'd drink the wines, or if I go to someone's house I'd bring some wine. Some cheap wines aren't very good, but once I got used to them, more expensive wines tasted AMAZING. I'm still not very savvy in the wine department, but now I can at least have a glass and be okay. I still prefer sweet white wines, … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I talked to a few friends who had been there and began booking with efcollegebreak but didn't really like them (bad previous experience) so I canceled with them and decided to plan the trip on my own. I did some research and found anywherecostarica.com which is a GREAT company to work with to book transportation in CR, hotels, and activities. All you do is pay, print out your vouchers, and everything else falls into place. &nb… Read how I did it…

I went to a coffee shop by myself which was actually pretty nice. Although, I did read my kindle to pass the time. I think to REALLY do this part of the video, I need to just sit, sip coffee, and look around.
