After some 30 years or so, I have begun to ski again. In December 2006 I went with a friend to Brighton (Utah) Ski Resort for the first time and we have been to Park City several times in January through March. My frustration isn’t with the skiing. The new, shorter, “shaped” skis of today are much easier to use than the ones I learned on years ago. My frustration is with my own lack of strength and stamina. It appears I’ll have more fun skiing next season if I spend more time in the gym this summer!

Take one of the “good for 48 hours” bus tours which include an Uptown loop, a Downtown loop, and a Harbor Cruise. It will really give you a picture of how large and varied Manhattan is! And, of course, see at least one play. We saw “Mary Poppins” which was marvelously done and great fun!
