I totally forgot this was on my list.

I fucking love Man Man. I don’t even remember all of the details now that it’s been about two months (saw them on March 5th, 2010 hey hey) and a lot of things were happening around that time too, but what I DO remember is that the for the first three songs, the crowd was basically just a giant mosh pit, Honus Honus wore a lovely dress, some dude climbed on top of the highest speaker and security couldn’t coerce him to come down, and I got touched by a lot of drunk people. Oh, and Javelin kicked some ass too.

Um, basically, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to, right up there with Patrick Wolf and mewithoutYou.

learn to play a musical instrument that ISN'T guitar, drums, or bass
while I am not a master

I think I have learned to play the ukulele almost decently. I can figure out how to play some songs playing by ear and I’ve learned 4 or 5 songs thus far. I love my uke; I’ve had it for a year and a half now, I think – I don’t know why I haven’t taken this off my list before now, but I fully intend to keep playing.
