Over the course of 7 years I racked up 4 years of German study, 1 year of the dead-but-always-popular Latin, 2 painful years of French, and even a foray into the world of American Sign Language. Yet I am fluent in… none of them. This is, I realize, pathetic. Before I’m 30 I’d like to learn and conquer a second language. Or at the very least, learn how to curse properly in Russian and order my favorite Chinese foods without my grandmother laughing at me.

true, this is already a habit but i like it anyway.
