I am fine with having a soda or two with dinner (cheaper than alcohol!) but I’ve just stopped buying it for the home. Coffee, tea, and water are staples, and I’ll even drink Gatorade once in awhile. Haven’t missed my Cherry Coke Zero as much as I thought.

If you’re a programmer, you probably think something about it is fun. No matter what you like about it, Ruby can bring it to you.
I can help, but I’m not the best resource. If you’re in the Richmond, VA area, though, let me know immediately.

That’s pretty much all I have to say on that. Girls will like it, but I had a girlfriend at the time.

I was surprised that when my girlfriend got into it, it was fairly easy to do—for someone my size at least (250lbs +). It’s “Eat what you want, sort of” Mind your portion sizes and make a few smart choices, that’s it. If you can exercize to burn 200 calories a day more than you do now, and consume 200 fewer calories (neither is that hard), you’re there.

My fiancee died. Stay honest with yourself and with your mate. Give yourself permission to feel better and space when you need it. Help will be there for you when you’re ready.
