I’m currently 2/3 of the way through John Zelle’s book “Python Programming: An Introduction to Computer Science” and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve taken a course in computer science that used Java, and in my opinion Python is a much better language to use in teaching computer science. It’s MUCH easier than Java. I’m trying to decide which Python book to read next after I finish this one. Any suggestions?

I’d really like to learn C, and a lot of people have recommended Kernighan and Ritchie’s “The C Programming Language.” Before I invest the time and money into this book, I just wanted to know if it’s worth it. Is it outdated? The language has changed since the book was published, do these changes affect the usefulness of this book?
Fantastic.

I use WordPress on my blog and I couldn’t be happier with it. The only problem is that WordPress is so fun to tinker with, it distracts me from actually blogging sometimes!
A tip for new users who want to do this but are scared it might be too difficult: if you have your site hosted by dreamhost.com, they have one-click easy installs of WordPress, so you really don’t have to do any work at all.
