I started growing sunflowers! I started off with 25 seeds that spouted but hail, rabbits, and overcrowding has left with only 17 plants. I’m patiently waiting for them bloom so I can harvest the seeds for next year. Pro-tip: grow in a raise garden bed and evenly space them out. They require plenty of water and sunshine.

I went canoeing in a my bride’s maid dress! It was super fun and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
This was an amazing adventure that I completed with Stephanie, Lora and Jonathan at Lower Kananaskis Lake. Huddled over a campfire to keep warm we looked at stars and snacking on roasted marshmallows. It was wonderful to see the silhouette of trees, as well as the various sizes and brightness of the stars in the night sky.
