How hard is it to land a bookstore job?

And how much do they pay typically? Is it basically impossible to find a job a independent bookstores (ie. not borders/B&N)?

it was worth it. it was a great show and the writing was terrific although the homeless person christmas episode was terrible. Now I’m watching “freaks and geeks” and so far i have been less impressed. I wonder what would have happened – the show ended on a cliff hanger…
