Recently, I have joined a business program, and one of the main components of this program is public speaking. In our group of 5 people, we put 20-minute presentation together for each session for a business case…so each person only needs to talk for 3-4 minutes. We only had the opportunity to go over & memorize the info 3-4 times, I guess some people are born to do presentations like these! They can easily remember what they need to say and are able to communicate this to the audience convincingly! Although I think I memorized what I need to say, when I am out there, my mind sometimes goes blank…
I am thinking of being more prepare, not in memorizing the speech, but in memorizing the concepts then work on being more articulate in expressing the concepts. I think that’s the way I need to go.
Lots of work ahead!
I join yoga classes here & there which are mostly for beginners. I took up Bikram recently, and it’s the best workout! My muscles are sore the day after, but trust me, you’ll feel GREAT! Worth Doing! Thumbs up
