How to snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef

How I did it: Went out to one of the Pontoons up by Canberra. Then took a small boat with marine biologists out away from the pontoon.   It was like swimming around in an aquarium!No need to dive, the reef is not deep at all and there are places where you have to be careful not to scrape yourself on it it is so close to the surface. How I did it: Read from both the Old and New testaments daily.It is as simple and complex as that. I pray before I start  reading to open my mind and heart to God's word and simply read wherever the Spirit leads.   The new testament is always a little more orderly than the old.I have tried the "chapter a day' thing and it didn't work for me.  I literally let the Bible fall open and start reading as long as it is a book I had not alr… Read how I did it…

Knit up my yarn stash
Luxury yarn vs. stash...hmmmm 1 week ago

Well, you guessed it.

I went and bought really nice silk and silk/bamboo instead of using the yarn in my stash.

So, I need you all to help me stay on track. I ONLY have over 80 yarns (not skeins, mind you – different types of yarn), in my stash.

I MUST make at least 1 item per month with my stash. Preferably 2-3 items/month.

So, after these 2 silk items… :)

Clothes purging... 1 week ago
  1. I got rid of a bunch of stuff
  2. I won’t buy anything unless I LOVE IT and I NEED IT
  3. Everything fits in my closet and dresser with a few spare hangers
  4. I have a list of items I need to keep an eye out of future “replacements” – less than 10 items total

I feel like step #1 is complete!
