after 2 years of hair growing, i was able to donate my hair in december ‘07 to locks of love. i waited the full 2 years to make sure i actually had the minimum 10” to donate; how surprised was I that a foot was lopped off… and i could have given more! even better, i got 2 of my friends to donate with me, so we gave over 3 feet of hair.
i’m enjoying my new shorter ‘do and have decided that this will become a regular routine for me until i can’t give any more!

How I did it
How I did it: two words, my friend: JET Programme. once i met people, i go back to visit every year or so. jtb is a good airfare finder, and JR has passes that are specific to regions, so if you're only going to the east side of the island, don't buy the generic pass (cho~ takai! very expensive!)
