They came to Denver 9/19 and I missed it. My ex boyfriend sold my ticket, so when I decided to spite him and buy my own and go anyway, I was faced with the fact that it was a 21+ show. I just turned 20. AND I was sick on the day of the show anyway! I’m rather irked about the whole thing. Couldn’t there have been one way for me to go instead of all of the possibilities crumbling before me? Next time…

My family rescued a greyhound, Norman, when I was very young. He lived to be about 13 and was the best pet and friend my family could ever have had. He was the dog with 9 lives; he was hit by a car, he had multiple seizures, a stroke, broke his leg, lost every toenail he had at least four times and ultimately had to be put down after he got cancer. Despite all this he was happy, loving and energetic all his life. He was such a survivor and made me fall in love the breed. After I stop living like a nomad and get some hardcore traveling done, I want to rescue and care for a greyhound (or, like, five!) of my own.
