Things are so fast paced. I am working 2 jobs, 7 days a week, and I’m 47 years old. I thought once my children grew up and left the home that things would become easier, but it hasn’t worked out that way. I’d like more time to do the things I LIKE to do and not be struggling to pay the bills and do the “chores” until the day I die. I’m feeling burnt out and exhausted with no end in sight. Mind you, I am grateful for what I have and all the Lord has blessed me with. Every day is a gift from God and I endeavor to rejoice in that. But, I’m human, and more and more often I find myself wishing for a slower and simpler lifestyle.
