am writing down the basic laws for my meditation, since I am behind.

Will cycle 6 simultaneously, adding one each next month until completion.

fix my car
Okay I've done price checks on the parts I need.

I should have the money in a few weeks and then the show will be on the road!

take in boarders (read all 3 entries…)
Untitled

I’m not even sure if I want two more…

join the YMCA
I can't bring myself to spend the money on this yet.

It’s weird. I do when the mood strikes me—but not for this.

make a hackey sack
I just need to pick up some panty hose

I haven’t worn the stuff in YEARS! Even before panty hose stopped being cool.

buy a crockpot
Funny thing is...

The old ones work right. Unless it’s an actual crock pot by that company, modern crock pots cook the food on a higher than low temperature to insure there is no risk of bacteria. Come on. Plus, I’m determined to save money. I’m going to check out some places when I can.

travel in my state (read all 2 entries…)
I went to my sister's wedding in Waxhaw...

I do not count that. We were lost for so long that we missed the wedding and only showed up in time to take pics as if we’d been there the whole time. (eye roll)

ask intro to Native American religions teacher for a reading list (read all 2 entries…)
Not necessary.

I have 4 classic Native American books in my library and sacred texts has a lot of good stuff online. Then, there are other online sources and the local library and the local Metrolina Native American Association.

learn how to tumble
Re-experiencing the forward roll.

Today’s goal in this is to forward roll and to cartwheel. I need to get all the cobwebs out.

tutor my son and cousin for the rest of this summer.
Making headway

I am making headway with Ian. I have taught him how to memorize his skip counting and next week we will work on memorizing his multiplication tables. Today we will finish off defining fractions and will start making pictures of them. I’ve also exposed him to a few algebra rules.

have more self control
This helped me...

This may help…
St John’s Wort is something I use, but if you take high blood pressure medicine, it isn’t recommended. I am not a doctor, but I found out about this herb in YOU the owner’s manual written by Dr Oz and another doc. It really works. You feel like you’re having a good day, even if you aren’t, and it costs $5 or so at Walmart.
Another thing is, metu neter 4 is pretty good. It helps you rewrite your mental scripts so that you don’t react to the same stimuli in the same way. However, the metaphysical stuff in the beginning isn’t crucial to the process

record dreams everyday
I keep forgetting them upon awakening.

That makes this a very hard thing to do.

Call/contact loved ones daily instead of being swallowed by my own perspective and life.
I have no idea

why this is so hard for me.

watch less tv
I have no tv but I do get on the internet.

Watch t.v while you work out. That would make it productive. I do a workout dvd that I’m familiar with on one screen while watching a netflix movie or show on another. I also watch “tv” while I read over notes for class. This way, I don’t feel a need to take breaks, the emotional responses I have strengthen my memory of the subject, and I don’t feel fatigued after hours of memorizing and testing myself in a subject. If you like it so much, make sure it suits your purpose. That way you don’t feel guilty. I find that if I don’t entertain myself, I feel cheated-especially if I’m doing something tedious and dry-like the same old workout video and the same old notes.

take the risk, pursue what I love, even though it can be frightening. In fact, do it BECAUSE it's frightening.
So scared just marking this as 'I'm doing this'

Okay. I’ve always wanted to be the absolute best I can be. Right. I’ve said it. I also want to do it without feeling guilty or like I might be hurting anyone else’s progress. Who the hell am I to think that I can negatively affect anyone’s journey by growing and mastering? If the awesomeness of God or Buddha or Mohammed or Gandhi or Martin Luther King, Jr isn’t crushing the hope out of anyone, then my fear of alienating people or hurting people is unfounded and childish.

Accept death of Sirius Black
What? Why?

He’s not dead. He passed through that “doorway” without actually losing his life. He’s not dead. Don’t cry anymore.

set up a clothes line
Bought the cord today.

Boyfriend is handling the installation.

ask intro to Native American religions teacher for a reading list (read all 2 entries…)
I can't attend this class

Its hours are too different from the other schedules, so it leaves a big gap when I could be doing other things, but I could use this for research on a book I have been working on.
