I’ve been a webmaster for over a year now, and have three domain names. Web space is cheap (i pay $4 a month), and domains are even cheaper (I pay $8 a year for each). Many hosts even have Fantastico available to you, which allows you to easily install certain scripts, some of which let you build your website without having to know complex programming languages such as HTML, PHP, CSS, PERL, and the like (these scripts are called CMSs, standing for Content Management System). I myself am working on coding a CMS.

I got a program called Multimedia Fusion, and took an online class on how to make basic games with it. I haven’t made anything big; the program doesn’t support 3D, but I’ve made some decent sidescrollers.

I’m planning, and sorta starting work on a text-based MMORPG. I’m using PHP with MySQL for most of it, but I intend to use some javascript as well.
As for the whole “team” concept… this whole thing is a one-man project. The only team I’ll have is some testers. If you really know you’re stuff, you don’t need a development team.
