accepting the fact that no matter how much you love someone, that doesn’t mean that they will ever love you. maybe that’s what love is, taking that chance. you’ve just got to be willing to invest yourself without any expectations of reciprocity. you can only do what you can do, then you’ve just got to let it go and see where you end up.
