I took a community course last fall. It was a lot of fun, though I had trouble knowing if I was doing it correctly or not. I’d like to take more lessons with a better instructor, but I can’t seem to find one that is local.

Yay! I finished the blanket. It took almost a year. But I am so addicted to crochet now that I could probably make a second in about 3 weeks. :)
It’s such a great feeling to make something yourself (rather than buy it in a store). When that baby is wrapped in this blanket, he will be wrapped in love. Because love went into each and every stitch.
The last few times I’ve gone, I’ve had trouble. I think it’s because I stopped exercising as often. Between that and the stress of graduate school, I’ve decided to take a break from donating. If/When I start donating regularly again, I’ll be adding this goal back to my list.
